iWise™ Service Management Suite Version 7.0 to be Released in the 2nd Quarter of 2007

Cary, N.C. – The infraWise/IRC Group of Companies announces the latest release of its award-winning, ITIL®-based iWise™ Service Management suite of applications.

The iWise™ Service Management suite provides a comprehensive, extended data model that guides functional processing by incorporating customized workflows throughout the integrated suite of applications. iWise™ Version 7.0 is now "PinkVerified Enhanced™" in seven ITIL® disciplines: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Release Management, Availability Management, and Service Level Management. Currently, there is no Pink Elephant verification available for Request Management and Financial Management. Nevertheless, these disciplines are available in the iWise™ software base solution. The new version has been significantly enhanced and includes:
- Support for Windows Vista Business™ and Windows Vista Ultimate™ platforms
- Ability to embed Microsoft’s Systems Management Server’s (SMS) ™ capabilities within iWise™, including the CMDB
- Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2005™
- Workflow definition and management improvements
- Search and SQL performance improvements
- New Java Application Server functionality for ease of third-party integrations
- Improved integration between the Change and Release Management processes
- Anticipated ITIL® V3 requirements for Request Management application integrations
- iWise™ Version 7.0 has successfully achieved the Pink Elephant PinkVerify™ Enhanced Certification, based on the industry-standard ITIL® Service Management Best Practices
