iWise™ Version 7.0 is now Pink Elephant Verified Enhanced

Cary, N.C. – infraWise announced today that its flagship Service Management Suite, iWise Version 7.0, is now one of only 15 applications in the world certified as ‘Pink Elephant Verified Enhanced.’

ITIL® was originally developed in the mid-1980s by the British Government. Put simply, it is a series of books that outline a comprehensive set of best practices for IT Service Management.

To be Pink Elephant Verified, a vendor has to show that its tool meets certain mandatory standards in all five ITIL® Service Support disciplines: Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration (CMDB) Management, Change Management, and Release Management. The ‘Enhanced’ suffix means iWise Version 7.0 also has Availability Management and Service Level Management functionality as standard features. Currently, there is no Pink Elephant verification available for Request Management and Financial Management. Nevertheless, these disciplines are available in the iWise software base solution.

"A Pink Elephant executive consultant assessed and confirmed the compatibility of infraWise’s iWise Version 7.0 with seven ITIL® processes."
